29.01.2006 - The works on my site are coming to their end
Uploading of the texts has begun. Uploading of the images of my art-works is being prepared (there are about 250 of them). The Feedback page is to be completed – this will be a special page for the visitors where they will be able to take part in the discussions and to publish their photos and images of their art-works (it’s not a forum, however!). There is much work to be done, but there is also light at the end of the tunnel!
19.04.2006 - My web-site is almost ready
The work to be done - uploading the English gallery. It will take me about a week.
22.05.2006 - Moving to the US
From April, 26 I live in North Haven, CT, USA. I left most of my old art works in Russia, and they are available for Russian buyers only. I started painting in America, and soon images of three of my new paintings will appear on this site. These works will be available for Western art collectors also.
03.06.2006 - Files of the images of my art works available
I started selling images of my art works. They are JPEG format of good quality, 1-5 Mb/ I charge 10$ per each file only. You write me a letter to info@garipova.com, purchase a file, download it on your computer and print it out the way you want!
02.07.2006 - New art works on my website
At last I have photographed my new art works made in the USA and placed them on my website. For July 2nd, there are eight of them.
03.08.2006 - New article on the tasks of the artist
I finished and published on my website a new article "Your Money or Your Life". It is about the tasks that artists have to face nowadays. Thanks to my husband Jeffrey M. Watson's help translating, English readers can get acquainted with it too. Read!
15.09.2006 - Mural
I tried a new technic recently - that is a mural done in the bathroom. Unfortunately, it's nearly impossible to photograph the whole picture because of the door, and the room itself is very small. Nevertheless, I hope the image on the website gives an idea of my new work.
